A Practical Session on Mushroom and Apiculture Cultivation 

On 18 th December 2019, the first year students of Department of Commerce (SF) were taken to the Department of Zoology by value added course coordinator Mrs. Elsa Daniel (Faculty, Department of Commerce).

Firstly, students visited “Advanced Centre For Extension Research Training in Zoology”. The students were guided by Dr. Nisha P Aravind (Assistant Professor, Department of zoology). She showed the students the cultivation of button mushroom and the preparation of compost for the same. She also explained the cost of production, its maintenance procedures etc. Two of the students from the group volunteered to help her in the process.
