Archival Exhibition

Department of History organised an Archival Exhibition on Modern Kerala History in association with Department of History, University of Calicut. Rare documents on modern Kerala History preserved in the archives of Department of History, Calicut University were exhibited. Dr.Sivadasan P , Head, Department of History, Calicut University inaugurated the function and spoke on the relevance of the archival sources in the reconstruction of History in an objective manner. He spoke with examples from the exhibition on how particular sources can be consulted without showing subjectivity in writing history.
