Mr. Prateesh C Mammen Mr. Mamman, an active environment scientist delivered his talk on atmospheric air pollution and ozone depletion. Around 140 BSc and MSc students attended the seminar.

The program involved lectures, general discussion and quiz competition on environmental aspects and prospects. The program was sponsored by KSCSTE Details of Resource Person Er. Mythili Sharma Ex. Secretary, Pollution Control Board Mr. Toms Augustine School of Environmental Sciences Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam      

Meet the Scholar Lecture Series Dr. Varghese Punnose Clinical Psychologist, Medical college. The Department of Economics  conducted its first Meet The Scholar lecture series in the month of June was deliverered by Dr. Varghese Punnose, Clinical Psychologist, Medical college, kottayam.

The department also conducts seminars and lecture series which aim at environment conservation and also plants saplings of various tress in the college campus.
