One day Seminar and Exhibition on Khadi
In connection to the commemoration of Gandhiji‟s demise a programme was arranged by the Dept of History along with Gandhian studies of MG University and Khadi board, Kerala. The programme was attractive one for the students of History. Even though it was a time bound programme it had its uniqueness. The Programme dealt with the Gandhian strategies and the importance of Khadi as a symbol of Indian self sufficiency. Two day exhibition of  Khadi products was also arranged along with. A talk on Relevance of Gandhian Ideology in Contemporary India was delivered by Dr.Biju Lakshmanan, Gandhian study Centre.
