Pankidam Onam
On 10th September 2024, as part of the “Pankidam Onam” celebration by the NSS Unit of CMS College, volunteers visited the Old Age Home at Thiruvanchoor. Program Officer Sony Sir welcomed everyone to the event, which was filled with joy and warmth.
The volunteers engaged the elderly residents with dance, songs, and games, making them feel included and happy. Senior incharge Ashitha C. Joy expressed her sincere gratitude to the NSS team for their efforts. The visit left the residents moved and joyful, creating lasting memories for all.
On 9th September 2024, as part of the “Pankidam Onam” celebrations by the NSS Unit of CMS College, volunteers spent time with autorickshaw drivers from the college front gate.The drivers were invited to the college canteen, where the team spent time conversing and enjoying refreshments together. The event, attended by Principal Anju Sosan George, Vice Principal Dr. Reenu Jacob and Program Officers Sony Sir and Archana Miss included gifting Onam presents to the drivers and sharing tea and snacks.The gathering fostered a sense of community and appreciation, making it a memorable part of the Onam celebrations.
