Pulses – Seeds for a Sustainable future

One day Seminar on “Pulses – Seeds for a Sustainable future” was organised in connection with International Year of Pulses on 10 th August 2016, The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Anu Joseph, AssistantProfessor , St Theresa’s College, Ernakulum.. The seminar was sponsored by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology &; Environment. The programme aimed at creating awareness on the importance of pulses among students and teachers. The main focus was given on the nutritional aspects of pulses and cultivation of pulses. It is essential to create awareness among student community as they are the ones who will shape the future. 120 students and teachers participated in the seminar.
