A talk was conducted on the topic, Perspectives of Kerala History by Dr. C I Issac, Member of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR). The talk was highly authoritative and detailed thoroughly about the impact of colonialism; the indigenous Kerala society underwent conspicuous changes in the socio-economic, political and cultural spheres in the 19th century.
