Graduation Ceremony of the first post graduate autonomous batch (2016-18) was held on 23 November 2018. The convocation address was delivered by the Vice chancellor of Karunya University.
The inauguration of FIDE International rating chess tournament in collaboration with the Chess Academy was held at CMS College on 8 April 2016
The grand finale of the bicentenary was on 2 September 2019 with the Most Rev. and Right Honourable Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury as the guest of honour. A two-wheeler rally was organised on 29 August as a tribute to the pioneer Principal at the Benjamin Bailey statue at Nagampadom Municipal Park.
A bicentenary valedictory torch was lit on 27 August which was kept ablaze till the grand finale. This was followed by a proclamation rally to the Gandhi square where the teachers and students took the oath to preserve and carry forth the light of learning and values of education through their lives.
The bicentenary celebrations came to a close with a week-long chain of celebrations, marked by a session of praise and thanksgiving on 26 August 2019.
The museum was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Thomas K Oommen on 22, March 2018. The museum is situated next to the Principal’s bungalow.

A documentary on the legacy of CMS College directed by our alumnus Shri. Joshi Mathew had its switch on function on the 5 March 2016 by Shri Jeyaraj, who is also an alumnus of the college. An art camp, organised in association with the Lalithakala Academy was held in March 2016 was inaugurated by Shri. Kattoor Narayana Pillai, Chairman of the Kerala Lalithakala academy
