The Bicentenary logo is a masterstroke of Shri Kanai Kunhiraman. It speaks of the story of CMS College- its foundation, its history, its vision and its impact.
In honour of a college celebrating its bicentenary, the Kerala circle of India post brought out a special cover which was released during the inaugural function of the Bicentenary. The cover carries an image of Rev. Benjamin Bailey, and also one of the earliest photographs of the campus.
The bicentenary celebrations of CMS College was inaugurated by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India on the 26 of February 2016. A Thanksgiving Service was conducted on 17 March 2015 at the College Chapel marking a solemn and sacred entrance into the bicentenary era officiated by Rt. Rev. Thomas K Oommen, Manager of the College. The service was graced by the presence of the former Bishops of the Diocese.
The Value added programmes for the year 2020-21 was inaugurated on 30th January 2021. The students were made familiar with the MOOC platforms through which they would be enrolling and completing the course
CMS College salutes the brave hearts who laid down their lives for the country every year and pays respect to the nation by hoisting the flag on every Republic day and Independence Day. Following the government orders, the college reopened on 4 January 2021 with a dedication service at the College Chapel led by Rev. Jacob George (Bursar CMS College).
The IQAC wing of the college organised an Induction programme to welcome the post graduates on 3 December 2020. This two day programme had Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, outstanding professor and dean, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology as chief guest. Sri. Joshy Mathew, Film director (Alumnus) launched the CMS NEWS channel on 11 November 2020. This new venture is a bimonthly event highlighting the various activities of the college. The News is delivered both in Malayalam and English simultaneously.
