Student Union
The Student Council is an elected body empowered to promote all of the college’s curricular and extracurricular activities. The role of students’ unions encompasses much more than just social events. The college union encourages a sense of community by embracing the diversity of the institution’s students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors. The educational vision and mission of the college are reinforced in its association with the students union, which offers an array of cultural, educational, social, and recreational programmes, services, and facilities. The Students Union is a representation that the democratic way of life offers students the chance to be educated to be decent citizens with a positive outlook, which improves institutional quality. The Students Union of CMS College serves as a conclave, an active representative body, to voice the issues and complaints of the students The Union organises a variety of educational and cultural events and is extremely important in raising awareness among students about topics like Anti-Ragging, “Say No to Drugs” campaign and programmes about Gender Sensitization and Equal Opportunity for All Students. Furthermore, the union assists in preparing students for participation in intercollegiate competitions like the University Youth Festival.
