Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions, CMS College Kottayam (Autonomous).
CMS College Kottayam (Autonomous) is committed in providing a place of work and study free of sexual harassment, intimidation, and/or exploitation. Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as per the University Grants Commission (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of the sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 has been functioning as a statutory body in CMS College Kottayam (Autonomous) since the year2016.The Committee will take cognizance of all forms of sexual harassment towards women and will promote gender sensitization. This extends to all students, faculty, staff, officers, residents and visitors of the College. The present committee has been constituted with the following members:

The Committee (ICC) organizes gender sensitization sessions, awareness programmes on prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment in the college.
The committee initiates all proceedings as required by law on the receipt of a complaint. It conducts enquiry upon the complaint received and an enquiry report with observations and recommendations, if any, is sent to the Executive Authority of the college in compliance with the provisions of the regulation.
